A Word from Our Principal:
Dear Williams Ledger Families,
February is a month full of love, learning, and celebration! Our students continue to make us proud each day. Whether it’s reading a good book or solving a tricky math problem, their enthusiasm makes our school a sweeter place to be! As we celebrate Valentine’s Day, let’s remind our students that the best gifts we can give are kindness, friendship, and encouragement. A simple kind word can make someone’s day sweeter than a box of chocolates!
Please join us in encouraging students to participate in "Random Acts of Kindness" week from February 17-20. Here are some simple and meaningful random acts of kindness that students can do:
Write a kind note – Leave a sweet note for a friend, teacher, or family member.
Compliment someone – Tell a classmate something you like about them.
Help a friend – Offer to help a classmate with their work or clean up.
Hold the door – Let someone go ahead of you in line or hold the door open.
Share school supplies – Lend a pencil, eraser, or crayon to someone who needs it.
Make a thank-you card – Create a card for a teacher, principal, or staff member.
Pick up trash – Help keep the school clean by picking up litter.
Invite someone to play – Ask someone who looks lonely to join your game.
Be a good listener – Pay attention and show you care when a friend is talking.
Smile at others – A simple smile can brighten someone’s day!
