Parents, here is a look at this month's school calendar. CCISD staff return Monday, classes will resume Tuesday morning when students return from break.

CCISD held Computer Science Week Dec. 9th-13th as part of Code.org's Hour of Code, showing students that anybody could learn coding. Students learned coding basics and completed daily activities, like graphic design.

Our retiring superintendent Dr. Joe Burns was honored in a surprise at last week's Military Affairs Dinner for his years of work in our community, including with Fort Cavazos and military-connected students in Cove.

The Lost and Found is always accessible in the cafeteria for students and their family members to look through. There is an increasing collection of clothing items so please swing by or remind your student to check for their lost items! Please note that all items left behind during the Winter vacation will be donated.
Don't forget our school holiday shop is open and has been extended through next Wednesday! This is an amazing opportunity to empower your students to choose, purchase and give gifts to their loved one!
Tuesday night, the CCISD Board of Trustees voted to approve the hiring of Carolyn Jackson as the new principal at House Creek Elementary, in addition to approving the expansion of a key R.I.S.E. Program partnership.
